The story of Roni Fleurs begins with Constantin Barelier, a young man who discovered the Côte d’Azur in the 19th century. Falling in love with the region, its colors and its scents, he decided to settle as a horticulturalist in the Cap d’Antibes. There he obtained the title of “Meilleur Ouvrier de France” in 1887 and lived of his passion for working with flowers, which he passed on to his entire family. Starting with his son Joseph, also a horticulturalist in the heights of Antibes, then his grandson Robert, who continues to grow roses.
While he was working, Robert met Nicole, the daughter of important family clients.
They fell in love, got married and their common love of flowers led them to open their first boutique: Roni Fleurs. The brand, made up of their two first names, was created in 1971 in Cagnes-sur-Mer.

The happy family grew: Emmanuel, Jean-Marie, Nicolas and Audrey were born in a flower universe, where fields of roses were their favorite playground. Embracing the passion of their parents, they enter the business from a young age helping with the composition and packaging of plants on the ground floor of the family home.
Self-taught, different but complementary, the four brothers and sister take over the reins of the company, which they guide with sensitivity, originality and innovation. They have in them an innate artistic fiber and an artisanal know-how.
The famous French touch is omnipresent in all of their floral art compositions. From then on, Roni became a real institution on the French Riviera. All together, they develop the boutiques in Juan-les-Pins, Cannes, Monaco and Courchevel; until the last opening of the boutique in Antibes, considered to be the homecoming of the family.
Its history is quite special, it was a private mansion built in 1920, listed as a French heritage. Completely renovated and sublimated, its 400-square meters house a space reserved for a showroom and for the designers’ creations.
